Our inspiration is drawn mainly from nature, ensuring each piece reflects organic beauty and timeless appeal.

Our maker brings his western culture and nordic inspiration together when making items.
Are the products really made by hand?
Yes, all our leather goods are really made by hand. We saddle stitch all or goods, dye our leather and hand finish every item. We make our own leather lace to do our braiding and buck stitching.
Do you offer international shipping?
At the moment we only offer shipping in Finland in our online store. However, if you are interested in placing an international order, please contact us so that we can figure out how to get the product to you.
What materials do you use in your leather goods?
We use vegetable-tanned leather, polyester thread due to its UV resistance, and solid brass metal parts to ensure our products are of the highest standard.
How should I care for my Svartå Heirloom product?
With proper care, our products are designed to last generations. We provide detailed care instructions to ensure your heirloom remains in pristine condition. More detailed instructions can be found here.
Do you offer custom orders?
Yes, we welcome custom orders. Contact us to discuss your specific needs and let us craft a unique piece just for you.
We charge a deposit of 50 % of the value of the custom product in order to start.
